An American couple’s wedding was moved into a Bathroom after the groom’s mother suffered an asthma attack during a courthouse wedding ceremony.
Couple Brian and Maria Schulz were ready to exchange their “i do” in Freehold, New Jersey, when the groom’s mother suddenly had trouble breathing.
“The planned nuptials took a sudden turn, when unfortunately the groom’s mom had trouble breathing and thought she was having an asthma attack in the courthouse,” reads a Facebook post shared by the Courthouse’s account January 24, 2018.

The date of the wedding was not included in the Facebook post.
“Sheriff’s Officers assisted in administering oxygen to the mom in the ladies bathroom and called EMTs to take her to the hospital,” the statement reads.
Seeing that a cancellation of the wedding will cause the couple to wait another 45 days to get married, the Judge, Katie Gummer, agreed to perform the ceremony there in the bathroom.
The groom’s mother has recovered and is doing just fine at the time of the Facebook post.
