On this wonderful day, 19th of December, 2015 to be precise, I was invited by a friend, who also happened to be a Big Sister to Abimbola. I was sitted in the company of my friends chatting and sipping my drink when Bobo introduced her to us, but specially to me based on Single and Mingle logistics…(Smiles***). So we got talking and even had to drop her at home that day. She was a Corper serving in Port Harcourt at that time. After that day, we rarely talk or see each other as i was in a relationship then. I lost my phone in between and as a result we lost touch.
Fast forward to 2017, another special day, I say special because truly she is my special package from God. I was on an official assignment when my phone rang, I picked up the call and behold I heard a soft voice: ” Been a while, how are you? My name is Bimbo “. “Wow!!…”…I exclaimed. I was so amazed because this happened to be a period when I was praying for direction maritally. Could this be a divine arrangement?..I silently asked myself. After our first outing, I said to my neighbor…. “I have found my Wife” Yipee!!!
On my birthday, all was set for a birthday dinner with my friends. After our meal, the waiter brought “dessert” for her. She opened the plate cover and the next thing she saw na that 4 letter word. I went on my knee and the rest is history. Here we are today ready to spend eternity together.
Abimbola
I met Olami like I fondly call him on the 19th of December, 2015 @ Aunty Sade’s Xmas get together. She introduced me to him and her colleagues afterwhich he told me to sit by his side. We got talking, he was such an interesting cool guy and I felt a connection with him. Then we exchanged numbers. He dropped me at my house and promised to call the next day after church so we can go and see a movie together but he never called nor showed up. So, I said to myself that he wasn’t looking for “Keeps” (Think like a Man and act like a Lady). He later sent messages on Whatsapp and apologized. We started talking from then but nothing serious just friends.
Fast Forward to Jan 2017, I started having issues with my relationship. It didn’t feel like it was heading anywhere. I remembered I prayed continually and trusted God for answered prayers. On this faithful day, I passed by Aunty Fola’s house and then Olami’s thought trickled on my mind. I tried calling him but couldn’t get his number on my phone. A week later, the holy spirit reminded me again about him. I have gotten his number at this time. I called and we got talking. This time around things were more serious.
On his birthday, I ordered a cake to be delivered to his office. We later spoke and he told me of his Dinner plan with his friends but didn’t tell me the Venue. We arrived at a Chinese Restaurant; Asia Town. After our meal, the waiter brought dessert to the table. I wasn’t interested because I was full but he insisted I have a little of it. I opened the cover and Gbam!!!… I looked at him and he went on one knee holding a ring with John Legend – All of me playing at the background. That was the most beautiful moment ever…I can’t forget that Smile on his face.
I am so happy am getting married to my Friend, Prayer partner, Lover, Husband to be…the list is endless. The way you love me, take care of me, make me happy, attend to my needs, put me first, ask for my opinion in everything you do is amazing…You are the answer to my prayers and even much more. Your baby loves you!!
